The ROASTED TUSCAN HAM is a typical product from central Italy and is one of PIACENTI's specialties. The artisanal production process and the expertise of the butchers are a guarantee of perfect cooking, tenderness of slices and mildness of taste.

Because of its mild taste, the ROASTED TUSCAN HAM is ideal served with fresh season vegetables and warm bread.
INGREDIENTS
Pork leg, salt, sugar, spices, natural flavourings, preservatives and antioxidants.
It has to be stored in the refrigerator between +0 C and +4 C.
RAW MATERIALS
Selected pork leg only fresh, not frozen that weights between 9 and 10kg.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
The brine is injected in the leg before 'Marinatura', so that it brings the natural flavours to the meat. It is then macerated in the brine for approximately 48 hours.
The leg is spiced with rosemary, pepper. Then, the product is cooked for 12 to 14 hours in suitable metal grids that convey the typical appearance of roasted meat. The cooking process is very slow and carefully monitored. The cooking is made exclusively using hot air and no steam.
