The PORCHETTA is an italian culinary tradition. It originated in central Italy as early as the XVth century. It was considered a celebratory dish that was prepared for weddings or holidays. PIACENTI prepares a delicious porchetta that you can serve whenever you want.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
It is ideal as a single course, served with roasted vegetables and olive oil bread.
RAW MATERIALS
Pork middles (loins and bellies).
INGREDIENTS
Pork meat, natural flavourings, dextrose, preservatives, antioxidants.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
The meat is spiced on the surface with natural aromatic herbs (rosemary, pepper, laurel, sage and juniper). The operators let the PORCHETTA marinate to become tender and aromatic.
Then follows the cooking, made exclusively using hot air, a very slow and carefully monitored process: the PORCHETTA is cooked for approximately 10 hours.
Once the PORCHETTA cooked, it is cooled down until it reaches the right consistency before packaging.
